"I'm an introvert, which means I prefer peace and quiet and time on my own, doing crafts (woodwork, baking, painting, crocheting, gardening) or reading (Jung, Marcus Aurelius, fairy tales, classical literature), now I'm studying psychology to extend my professional prospects and include art-therapy into my classes. I like cats as they remind me of the admirable features such as flexibility, grace and independence. First and foremost, I would like to have an intellectual and spiritual connection, i. e. shared values, goals, interests and the pace of living, e. g. I prefer slow life, I can't be always busy, flying like a crazy bee. Sometimes there is a need to do nothing at all. I'm far from perfect, as all of us, I have my challenges and traumas, and the older we become, the more difficult it is to find your person that chooses you and you both are ready to make place and time for each other. Here I'm not looking for a way to escape from my beloved country, Russia, for a better, richer or more comfortable life in the West, because there are struggles and difficulties everywhere. What I do like when I have a chance to communicate with people from other countries is to learn their mentality and sometimes I'm lucky to find very wise souls, appreciative attitude and deep connection. That is the basis of a good, long-lasting relashionship as I see it. But it is also a matter of luck. In terms of languages, I have been teaching English for about 11 years now, and 4 years ago finished my course in German. This week I asked AI to give me a list of German idioms, and really enjoyed a sense of humour there, like Alles hat en Ende, nur Wurst hat zwei." |
