I choose to have less to connect more. • Physical intimacy is not a physical thing and two people shouldn't do it just because they can. It demands the right person and right time. It can't be rushed or planned. The right conditions can be created but it should arise from purity and stillness of both and the environment. I invite you to read some of my reflections: Intimacy starts within Genuine Intimacy is a deep connection with oneself first and foremost: it is embracing all vulnarabilities, alchemical transmutation of all trauma into gold, all experience into wisdom; it is meeting oneself face-to-face and, standing there in front of yourself, gently taking of from your face one mask at a time, until everything you've been told you are, everything you've been told you should or shouldn't be or do, dissolves in infinity and is purified and transmuted. Who are you underneath all these masks? Get to know yourself. What are you like? What do you like? What is true for you? You will not find this truth in another or anywhere else in the world. This truth originates in your own heart, can be discovered within your own body: underneath every mask you've ever worn, underneath every thorn that's ever been sent your way .. Getting to know yourself will open you up to great compassion, unlike you've ever felt before. For all the need to be out there ( in the world ) has led you away from the ONE who has been desperately longing for your touch, your care, your attention, crying out for love and calling for help. It has led you away from yourself. Your acceptance, healing and validation does not rest in anybody else's arms but your own. Embrace yourself, and, one day, somebody will embrace you like yourself: tenderly, gracefully, wholeheartedly, truthfully.., and it will be the purest joy. Shared joy. And every cup of tea is cherished. Sex holds no agenda Sex holds no agenda. It is not a self-serving lifeless motion in a greedy, self-absorbed intention of release. Sex is not a sport, nor a game, nor is it a gymnastic performance, nor a performance of any kind. You do not perform sex, you are it: in your purity, innocence, devotion, vulnerability, creativity, power, healing capacity, deep intimacy and connectedness. It can happen when there is deep connection to self, another and/or life. It is sacred. When you are in your own loving, tender, compassionate presence or in the presence of your beloved, when emotional closeness and intimacy overflows and the moment is ripe, there is a natural gravity to hold and gift your beloved ( yourself or another ) with the sacred touch, healing touch. It is a gift for both - the one who touches and the one who receives the touch. It holds no agenda and every moment is new. In that moment the old wounds may uncover and tears may run down from your eyes. Holding a space for each other is healing. All the healing that has been done till that moment on your own, has cleared the way for and manifested a sacred partner: a person of integrity, wisdom, strength, kindness and compassion, a person of great heart; and now, they are holding the space for you in immensity of their tenderness, in vastness of their love - the one that transcends the boundaries of personal love. Divine is flowing through their presence and is expressed through their being. You are being the same divine partner for them. You have no expectations for each other and allow the moment to unfold. What is it going to bring? It is a mystery as Life itself." |
